Where the poster and cards work

  • The poster: at your shop counter, showroom or service desk, wherever customers wait or pay. On a window, at eye level.
  • The cards: leave one with the invoice or work order when you wrap up the job. The customer finds it that evening and scans it if they want to.
  • In the truck: keep a few in the glove box for the customer who asks “how do I leave you a review?”
  • Inside the panel door or on the unit: a card taped where the customer will look again next season.

The cards print four to a sheet: cut along the dashed lines. Heavier card stock (around 65–110 lb cover) holds up better in an invoice envelope.

Ask, don’t push

The printed line is neutral on purpose: it invites a review, good or bad. Google’s policy bans offering a discount or a freebie for a review, asking only for positive reviews, and pressuring customers to write a review on the spot. A poster that says “10% off for a 5-star review” or “Happy? Give us 5 stars!” breaks more than one of those rules.

Showing the QR code is fine. Standing over the customer while they type is not; they’ll do it when they’re ready. The full list is on Google review rules.

Before you print

  • The sheets are laid out on A4. On US Letter paper, choose Fit to page (or about 96%) in the print dialog so nothing gets cut off; the QR code still scans fine.
  • For a PDF, pick Save as PDF as the printer. You can send it to a print shop.
  • Scan the printed QR code with your own phone. The review box for your profile should come up.

Make your poster in three steps

  1. Get your review link

With the free review link generator, or from your Business Profile (Google’s help).

  2. Paste it and add your name

The poster and the cards update in the preview.

  3. Print or save as PDF

Hit “Print / Save as PDF”, then scan the printed QR code to test it.

Frequently asked questions

Is the poster free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark. Everything happens in your browser; your link isn’t sent or stored.

Can I put “Give us 5 stars” on it?

Better not. Asking for a specific rating or only targeting happy customers goes against Google’s policy. The neutral line we print invites everyone the same way.

Which link do I paste?

The link that opens the review box on your Google Business Profile. Our generator finds it from your business name, and Google offers one from your profile too (Google’s help).

Will the QR code expire?

It holds your link, so it works as long as the link does. Scan it now and then, especially after a move.
